Overground Endoscopy

Our Videomed overground endoscopy system is used either onsite or on the local gallops for evaluation of the upper respiratory tract.

For exercise-related respiratory disorders, dynamic overground video endoscopic examination is the new gold-standard, replacing the traditional dynamic treadmill videoendoscopy and standing videoendoscopy.

Overground endoscopy fixes a specially designed endoscope and monitoring equipment to the horse and rider to visualise the horse’s throat during exercise. We monitor the horse in real-time on a video-monitor using bluetooth technology.
