Maris Terpstra

Maris was born and raised in The Netherlands. She graduated from Ghent University (Belgium) in the summer of 2017. She gained great experience by completing various externships throughout Europe during her study. After graduating, Maris worked as a mixed ambulatory vet back at home, before starting her Internship at Rainbow. She has an interest in lameness, surgery and critical care. Outside work Maris likes hiking, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Amy Harkness

Growing up in Ireland, Amy has always been involved with horses, from Pony Club up into affiliated eventing. She graduated from Edinburgh in 2017, and spent some time treating working donkeys and horses in Morocco, before joining the Rainbow team in 2018. Her main interests lie in internal medicine, in particular the management of colics and neonatal foals. Outside of work, she enjoys going for long slow runs, then relaxing with friends and good food.

Phoebe O’Sullivan

BVM BVS (Hons) BVMedSci (Hons) MRCVS

Phoebe graduated from The University of Nottingham in July 2018. Having always had a passion for equine work she grew up with horses and played polo at university. Prior to graduating she completed equine externships here at Rainbow, in Newmarket and spent a rodeo season doing equine work in Alberta, Canada. Her main veterinary interests include lameness and surgery. Outside of work Phoebe enjoys spending time with her three dogs, doing yoga and seeing friends.

Helen Bryant

BVetMed (Hons) MRCVS

Helen graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in June 2018. During her five years at university she spent a lot of time seeing practice at numerous different equine hospitals in the UK with her first being here at Rainbow. Since starting at Rainbow she has developed a keen interest in internal medicine and clinical pathology, something that she may wish to pursue once her internship here is complete. Outside of work she likes to catch up with friends and family, run, and spend most of her time in the sun when it makes an appearance!
